Event Details

Cambodia's agricultural sector is a cornerstone of the national economy and has a major influence on poverty reduction for the Kingdom's many people residing in rural areas. With the emergence of modern technology increasing Cambodia's agro-processing capacity, there is a great potential to enhance agriculture and socio-economic development.

Unfortunately, while the country boasts fertile land and a strong agricultural base, post-harvest losses due to inadequate processing facilities and outdated technologies remain a major obstacle for the sector. This translates to wasted produce and missed opportunities for value addition and export growth...

Join us as we discuss these challenges (and respective opportunities) and connect with key stakeholders in the sector as we identify concrete recommendations and a roadmap for enhancing Cambodia's agri-food processing capacity and competitiveness.
