The tax landscape in Cambodia has changed, but how does it affect you?

The new Law on Taxation went into effect 16 May 2023, consolidating 15 types of taxes to provide consistency and close gaps in current regulations. The new law gives the tax department broader powers, increases enforcement of penalties for non-compliance, and incorporates new definitions for Permanent Establishment (PE) and Joint Ventures.

EuroCham's breakfast talk, "Unpacking the New Law on Taxation" scheduled for 13 July at Raffles, will invite tax experts in Phnom Penh to the stage to deconstruct this new law and break down its significant revisions and additions.
