Dear Members, Partners, and Friends of EuroCham,
We successfully concluded the Real Estate and Construction Forum: Future Cities on May 23 with the launch of the Real Estate & Construction chapter of the 2023 White Book, which included recommendations from the private sector aimed at improving the business environment and assisting Cambodia's economic growth. This was a fantastic start to the week. You can view our events page to learn about events and training sessions we have coming up. Another highly successful event was Youth Day 2023, which was held at the Delegation of the European Union in Cambodia on 25 May. Nearly 300 young people attended, and they had the opportunity to learn about green initiatives, receive career guidance, and hear from local and international business leaders about innovation and sustainability.
We are always happy to hear from our community, members, and partners. Please feel free to get in touch with me or our team if you have any questions about what we are up to this year or would like to get involved.
Have a great weekend! |

|
The World Bank expects Cambodia's GDP growth at 5.5% in 2023. According to predictions, a growing agricultural sector, strong services, and manufacturing exports will be the main drivers of the economic recovery.
The country's economic recovery picked up speed in 2022, according to the report, "Cambodia Economic Update: Post-COVID-19 Economic Recovery," with real growth rising to 5.2%. This upturn has been greatly aided by a thriving recovery in the services sector, particularly in the trade, travel, and hospitality sectors, which has helped the country return to its pre-COVID-19 growth levels. |
