Representing the voice of European businesses in Cambodia since 2011

About us

The European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia was inaugurated on June 2nd, 2011 with the support of the three founding European business organizations: the Chambre de Commerce Franco-Cambodgienne (CCIFC), the British Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (Britcham) and German Business Cambodia (GBC, formerly ADW). Today, it also has national chapters representing Italy (ICBC); Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg (Benelux Chapter); and Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland (Nordic Chapter). Today, Cambodia’s leading international business chamber has approximately 300 members who engage actively in various sectorial advocacy committees, and organizes more than one hundred meetings, trainings and events every year. Our key objectives are: - to promote the interests of European businesses operating in Cambodia and to advocate for the interests of our members vis-a-vis the Royal Cambodian Government - to facilitate the entry of European companies into the market, and to support them with our extensive network of corporate and individual members as well as within the overall business community in Cambodia - to promote the country as an attractive investment destination - to support Cambodian companies via a range of export promotion programs - to offer professional training. Membership is open to any company - for more information, visit https://bit.ly/3aZxp9A or contact our membership team directly via members@eurocham-cambodia.org

We are excited to invite you to participate in a two-day training course on Due Diligence Awareness focused on Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence. The training will take place on the 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐲 at CGTI in Phnom Penh.   With the introduction of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) by the European Union (EU), the importance of ensuring compliance with sustainability standards throughout the supply chain has never been more crucial. Hereby, the Responsible Business Hub (RBH) Cambodia together with GIZ Fabric Cambodia is supporting CGTI to provide the training course on Due Diligence Awareness in order to equip factories and brands with essential insights and practical guidance on understanding and implementing human rights and environmental due diligence measures. In addition to the training on the second day, we are delighted to announce that there is a special guest speaker from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development which has been instrumental in funding the Garment, Footwear, and Textile (GFT) sector in Cambodia, including GIZ Fabric.   Please be sure to RSVP by 30th of April to confirm your participation in the training. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact CGTI (contact details in the flyer) or EuroCham's Responsible Business Hub rbh.officer01@eurocham-cambodia.org, phone/telegram +855 10 888 043.   #HREDD #CSDDD #Sustainability #Cambodia
