Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh said yesterday  that all people who are living in Phnom Penh will be vaccinated against Covid-19.

This vaccination will be done in stages and  it was stressed that there is no shortage of vaccines.

Khuong Sreng’s confirmation was made when he and the military brass involved with the vaccination of Red Zone residents inspected the Covid-19 vaccination program in the Red Zone of Boeung Salang commune, Toul Kork.

The governor stated that in this campaign, the Phnom Penh Municipal Authority has been cooperating with the armed forces vaccination team to ensure that the  vaccination campaign execution team will not face any obstacles in setting up the vaccination site in the Red Zones in the district.

The Capital Governor confirmed that after vaccinating the people and workers in the Red Zones, the Phnom Penh Municipal Authority and the vaccination campaign team will vaccinate the people in other areas.

“Throughout Phnom Penh, whether it is yellow, orange  or red, we have to inject everybody eligible for the vaccines in stages, that is, we have to inject to all the people in Phnom Penh and it is only a question of timing.”
