The Phnom Penh authorities had issued a decision on the night of June 2 on measures to be adopted to curb the surge of Covid-19 in the city.

The decision, which was released late in 2 June, caused a lot of concern, created doubts and questions and some level of panic due to the nuances the statement had posed.
