The Ministry of Health has announced the discovery of 39 new ‘Delta’ variant cases – with 18 of them being local cases.
The 18 local cases are listed as:
Health officials – 4 cases
Community direct contact – 6 cases
Community indirect contact – 8 cases
These cases include: 4 health officials in Oddar Meanchey as well as cases in Siem Reap, Kampong Thom, Samrong District of Oddar Meanchey, Trapeang Prasat, Anlong Ror District
In addition, 21 cases are reported on Cambodian migrants crossing from Thailand.
From March 31, 2021 to July 25, 2021, Cambodia has detected a total of 114 cases of the ‘Delta’ variant of COVID-19
