Dear Members, Partners, and Friends of EuroCham,

The main goal of EuroCham is to help European companies break into the Cambodian market. One of the key factors to attracting European business is ensuring a level playing field and we have ongoing conversations with the Royal Government of Cambodia to help facilitate this and other matters.

Over the past 15 days, we’ve met with several ministries to discuss issues brought to us by our members. Through our HealthCare, AgriBiz, Automotive and Transports & Logistics Committees we were able to meet high-level representatives from the Ministry of Health; the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; the General Department of Customs and Excises; and the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation.

We found common ground at these meetings with both sides expressing a desire to continue to work together. EuroCham stands ready to provide services, advice, and information that will help improve the business environment in the Kingdom.

With its strong 12 sectoral committees, EuroCham Cambodia is a leader in Public-Private Dialogue, and as we plan more high-level meetings throughout the year, we’re also eager to share with our Government counterparts the 2023 editions of the White Book, which will feature key recommendations from our committees.

Thank you for supporting us in our efforts and we look forward to sharing more advocacy updates with you soon.
